I miss Flash, almost romantically

…but it’s gone, gone, gone (like the song)

So after many years of animating, coding (AS1, AS2, AS3…well scrape the latest, I never got into AS3 anyway), I watched Flash tremble and crash in pieces. What we’ve left with were Flash compilers (like pissing in your pants on a cold, winter night – feels good for a moment, but not a permanent solution) and HTML5 tools (like GWD, which reminds me of the 1st version of Shockwave, only simpler).

So, today I’ve animated some Lincoln banners. Well, that’s about it.
