Who would guess that it’s been 11 years since I’ve learned InDesign by jumping in the fire to design a cool Detroit magazine “@313Now”. I have spent many sleepless nights until I’ve mastered InDesign and created one truly special layout. I designed and laid out over 60 pages of content, all the ads, all the retouching (oh so much of it), even the magazine’s logo and branding. I also did their shirts, posters, etc. This job gave me more confidence in being able to handle any kind of print design / layout / pre-press and also it gave me a migraine that still comes back from time to time.
