I was contracted to design a small food store in New York. The budget did not allow for all the crazy stuff I really wanted to do but in the end it turned out quite nice. Pitopia is a salad place, in the heart of the 5th avenue. It used to be some old, ugly joint before the new owner took over and found the best interior designer for the job (me – if you weren’t following the story).

The client is happy and I got another interior design gig (some french-looking caffee bar), but since I don’t have much time for traveling and running around making sure that everything is perfect, I try to keep such tasks on minimum. From time to time it doesn’t hurt to decorate a restaurant or a bar, but not a full time thing.
